FAQ
Oil Paintings – Questions
How do I purchase an oil painting?
Just head over to this landing page with all my available paintings. If something speaks to you, send me an email at kimjakobsson88@gmail.com, and I’ll help you from there.
How do I pay for a painting?
I only use PayPal. It keeps things secure for both of us, and you can easily track your shipment through your PayPal account. Of course, I’ll also email you the tracking details directly.
I live in the US. Can you still ship paintings with all the tariff changes?
PostNord (Sweden’s main postal service) has had some issues shipping to the US recently. But don’t worry, email me first, and I can arrange shipping through another provider for a small additional fee.
Can I buy a new “Flesh Painting”?
The original series sold out a while ago, and I’m currently working on other themes. But if you’d like to commission a flesh painting, you’re absolutely welcome to ask. Just keep in mind: they take a long time to dry because of the heavy paint layers. If you commission one, you can choose the canvas size, and we can talk about framing options, too.
Cover Art – Questions
Which painting can I use as cover art?
Email me an image or link to the painting you're interested in, and I’ll let you know if it’s available for licensing. Most artworks on the website can be licensed as cover art.
How will I receive the files?
I send everything via WeTransfer to avoid compression and keep the quality pristine.
If I use a painting for an album, can I use it for posters too?
Absolutely! When you purchase the license, you can use the artwork for most types of promotional material. I’d just love to take a peek at the poster beforehand.
Do you take commissions for cover art?
Not often, I rarely have the time. But if you’ve got a really cool idea, feel free to pitch it. I can, of course, make adjustments to existing paintings (ratio changes, color tweaks, etc.).
Prints – Questions
I can’t add a print to my cart. What’s happening?
I sell my prints through ArtStation, and occasionally, their print service goes down. If that happens, just email me, and I can print and ship from Sweden for a separate fee.
How long does shipping take?
Timing depends on your location, but usually takes about a week within the EU and to the US. If your ArtStation print is delayed, please reach out to their support team directly.
Do you sell signed prints?
For sure! Just send me an email and we’ll arrange it.
Do you offer custom prints? (Frames, special paper, etc.)
Yes! I can print and ship custom orders myself. If you want a specific frame or paper type, email me and we’ll put something together.
It takes a bit longer than ordering through my website, but you’ll get something more personal and tailored to you.
